Get started
Pondros is already in your Slack. Send your first ask, see what it does with it, and find your board.
Check Pondros is on
Look for Pondros under Appsin Slack’s sidebar. If it’s there, you can use it: there’s no account to create. The first time you message it, it sets you up and says hello. If it isn’t there, anyone can set it up.

Ask it something
Open your DM with Pondros and ask:
What's overdue, and who owns it?

Hand off something
In any channel Pondros is in, ask a teammate for something with a date:
@Sam can you send the vendor list by Tuesday?
Pondros adds a ✅ to your message and DMs you the task it created, with Sam as the owner.

Let it follow up
Do nothing. If the list isn’t in by Tuesday, Pondros checks in with Sam, not you.
Ways to talk to it
- Tag it in a channel:
@Pondros, and it replies in the thread. - DM it: everything you send gets an answer.
- Slack’s AI assistant panel: open Pondros there for suggestions like What’s overdue? and Catch me up.
- From any message: ⋯ → Send to Pondros board turns it into a task.
- From anywhere in Slack: the New Pondros task shortcut, or
/pondros add.
/pondros commands

/pondros add send the deck @Maya | Creates a task. People you @mention become the owners; otherwise it's yours. On its own, /pondros add opens the task form. |
/pondros board | Opens your board. |
/pondros turns @a @b @c | Sets a rota: unassigned tasks go to the next person on the list. /pondros turns off clears it. |
/pondros volunteer book the offsite | Posts the task as up for grabs, with a Claim button. |
/pondros notes | Paste meeting notes or a transcript, and Pondros pulls the tasks out of it. |
/pondros poll | Builds a quick poll. |
/pondros connect | Shows your own connected calendar and Drive. |
/pondros help | Lists what it can do from here. |

/pondros takes these commands only. To ask a question, tag @Pondros or DM it instead.
Find your board
Open the Pondros app in Slack and press Open Pondros on its Home tab, or go to app.pondros.com and sign in with Slack. See Your board.
