Use cases
Chase approvals and deliverables
Hand off a deliverable once and let Pondros chase it until it lands.
The point of Pondros is that you stop being the reminder. Hand the work off once, with a date, and the check-ins, the escalation and the “any update?” messages are Pondros’s job.
Hand it off once
@Priya can you send the Q3 usage numbers by Thursday?
Pondros checks in with Priya from Tuesday. If she goes quiet, it warns her, then tells you. See Follow-ups and escalation.
Approvals
An approval is a task like any other; name what “done” looks like:
@Pondros ask @Dana to approve the Acme contract redlines by Wednesday
@Pondros ask @Jo to sign off the launch post by Friday, and tell me when she replies
Waiting on someone outside Slack
If the work is owed by a client, make yourself the owner so Pondros chases you to chase them:
@Pondros remind me to get the signed SOW back from Northwind by Friday
What you’re owed
@Pondros what am I waiting on from other people?
@Pondros every Friday, DM me everything I'm owed that's late
