Your DMs

Let Pondros catch the asks in your own direct messages. Off until you turn it on.

What it does

A lot of what people promise happens in direct messages, not channels. With DM watching on, Pondros catches the asks in your own DMs and group DMs the same way it does in channels, and puts them on your board.

It’s off until you turn it on, and it’s per person: turning it on covers only you.

Turn it on

  • During setup, on the Your DMs, too. screen.
  • Or ask Pondros in a DM:

Pondros first explains what it will read, then switches on only once you agree.

What it reads

  • Your one-to-one and group DMs, checked every few minutes.
  • Both sides of each conversation, including what the other person wrote.
  • Never DMs between other people. Slack doesn’t give any app that access.

Heads up

The people you DM haven’t agreed to Pondros reading their messages to you. Tasks it finds go straight onto a board, so think about who you talk to before you turn it on.

While it’s on, you can also ask Pondros about a DM conversation, like what did Maya ask me for last week?, going back up to 90 days.

Turn it off

stop watching my DMs

Pondros stops straight away. Your Slack connection is kept, so turning it back on doesn’t mean approving Slack again.
