Data retention and deletion
What Pondros keeps, for how long, and what removing it from Slack or deleting your workspace does.
What Pondros keeps
- Your board: tasks, their owners, due dates, projects and history, and the message each task came from.
- Recent Slack messages from channels Pondros is in, with personal details redacted, so it can answer questions about your work and catch what was agreed.
- Conversations with Pondros, and what you’ve asked it to remember about how your team works.
- Files and documents it made or worked with for you.
- Your workspace’s people and settings: names, emails and roles from Slack, and the tools you’ve connected.

Deleting things
- A task: delete it from the board. It’s removed permanently, with its history.
- A whole board: needs approval from every admin before it’s deleted.
- The whole workspace: an admin opens Settings → General, chooses Delete this workspace, types the workspace name and confirms. Every task, board, conversation and setting is permanently deleted, and everyone is signed out.
Heads up
Deleting a workspace can’t be undone.
Disconnecting Slack
Removing Pondros from Slack, or pressing Disconnect in Settings → Connectors, stops Pondros reading or posting anything in Slack straight away. It doesn’t delete your board, so you can reconnect later and pick up where you left off. To delete your data as well, delete the workspace.
